The POLYFLOAT Aero mattress uses a unique network of intersecting air channels to assist with mattress profiling and patient comfort. In addition, the zoned, castellated mattress surface enables the foam to conform to individual body contours, which effectively redistributes pressure by allowing the partial immersion and envelopment of the patient.
The castellated profile of the POLYFLOATTM Dormira allows the mattress surface to conform to the patient's body contours, distributing their weight evenly across the mattress thereby reducing the average interface pressures. Smaller castellations to the heel and head areas help to further protect these bony prominences.
